FlexBoss21: Well, the fan is actually running, I slipped a small piece of paper up through the grill and it is indeed running, which leads me to believe that its a motion sensor issue. I can't determine determine if the problem is on a circuit board, or more likely in the fan, or a bad connection there. BUT, the fault light is always on and that could hide a more serious fault. So, I had better do something about it.

It appears that the fan array can be removed externally for inspection, tests, possible component replacement, etc if the Inverter is off and isolated electrically for safety purposes.

Is this fan tray available separately?

Can it be replaced "in place"?

What is the part number needed?

My system was purchased in late fall of 2025 and commissioned literally 2 hours before the end of the tax rebate expiration- kudos to all that helped me!

I have no experience with EG4 hardware support, RMA procedures, etc. So I need directions on how to proceed.

Items are all warranted under my name, the electrical contractor ordered from Soligent, by agreement with the electrical contractor, I am first line support for my system. I am experienced with heavy industrial electronics and electrical work by trade, but retired.

I checked generator logs and it was triggered by GridBOSS 2-wire start feature. There was no outage, and batteries were at ~50% SOC (generator is set to trigger at 30%). Generator worked for ~10 minutes, then stopped.

1.b Or if severe weather predicted on current day or next day also have an option to set charge soc to a certain amount such as 100%

2. For SOC accuracy, option to set how often in weeks to automatically charge battery up to 100% and how far to let it go down (such as 20%).

This would be nice since would not have to do this manually, if normally keeping my batteries just for back up at 70 or 80% for example.

Thanks

Greetings all, I installed two 12000xp's six months ago. Not parallel, but with interlocks on each load panel so that either inverter can power both load centers. I have three 4400W strings of PV. Inverter-1 has halted with "warning 20" multiple times. Tech support said "check your PV grounding". No problems found there. Warning 20 clears when I turn off the PV breaker. Turn back on everything's fine. Only pattern I see is that it has only happened during daylight hours. Load has been typical. I switched the PV strings and upstream breakers between Inverter-1 and Inverter-2 after the last Warning 20 event. There's a 4800 W water heater that may or may not have been running, but that's the main draw on that inverter. Yesterday morning about 10:am it tripped again. This time display switched between Warning 20 (pv grounding) and Warning 28 (overdraw). I think the machine needs service or replacement but what do you think?

I have a Flexboss21 and a 280AH Battery connected in a Grid Tie with Backup configuration, which has been on-line since mid February of this year. I have been working on building some data analysis tools using a combination of Access and Excel that use the export data from the EG4 monitoring app. I ran into issues with understanding what some of the categories are in the exported data. Specifically concerning grid import and load (consumption). Google AI was saying the pToUser and pLoad fields only included what the inverter was sending out to Load terminals of the inverter and not the total household loads. So I did a test and turned on my oven which is on my main panel and not my critical load panel and sure enough the consumption watts jumped up. I also verified the pLoad data field jumped up as well. That tells me those to fields are total household consumption (Main panel + Critical Load panel). Is this correct?

One of the things I wanted to get from my charts and data was a way to compare the EG4 data against my utility bill. I received my first bill a few days back and the comparisons are not as close as I would think they should be. I really can only do a direct compare on two data items, Imported power and sold to grid power. The imported power was within 1 kWh from what the Utility reported. However, the Sold to Grid was off by 27kWh's, or 1 kWh per day average. The interesting thing is the EG4 data was less than the utility data... Good for my bill...

Why is the Sold To Grid power logged by EG4 so much lower than what the Utility logged?

A far as I can determine the only consumed data included in the EG4 export data is pLoad. There is no energy Day or All Time data provided. EG4 tracks at least the All Time energy as it is included on the Monitor page. I am doing my own calculations based on the every 4 minute readings. Provides better than nothing data, but the accuracy will not be that good. Why are eLoadDay and eLoadAll fields not included in the Export data?

Final question... In a Grid Tie with Backup configuration, there are two different loads, the Main panel and the Critical Load panel. Is there a way to derive how much each panel is using from the export data? If not, why not?
