Last week I submitted a post concerning the new 2727 code and off-grid mode, but as a new subscriber I guess the moderator still has not released my post. Since that initial posting I have discovered that what I was seeing is incorrect. Off-grid mode is not 100% blocking export to the grid as it promises. There may be issues with this code release.

What are others seeing?

Recap & Update:

I want zero export and smoother transitions between EPS and grid supply. After upgrading to 2727 I tried Off-grid mode again but the inverter has been doing/reporting strange things AND has been exporting small amounts. I tried a shutdown and restarted with no improvemt. I updated the LCD firmware and things got worse so I phoned EG4. Michel, with my permission, reset all my settings to default (see very bottom of Monitor web interface). Then she slowly re-added settings i had in place. In no time Off-Grid mode was working feeding power to my Load output though EPS. We discussed whether some settings that i had in place were necessary. All has been stable and I am hopeful that Off-Grid mode will work as advertised...ABSOLUTE Zero export. I am not sure if the transitions between EPS and grid supplied power are faster - time will tell.
