I am testing the 6000xp before connecting to grid and my loads. I have it connected to PV and indoor battery. With load breaker on I am testing L1 to L2 and get 240v which I expected. If I test L1 or L2 to neutral I am getting 50v. What am I doing wrong?

Are there any other AC inputs? If so, it will be in bypass mode and mimick its power profile. For example, I've seen 50-60v when using a 120V generator in bypass mode, which makes sense, but given you're getting 240 across L1 and L2, that's not the issue. Otherwise, I'd check that your neutral properly bonded at the right place. For completely off-grid, i'd use the neutral/ground bond feature in the inverter.

Just out of curiosity, and I am sure you checked but, when you are checking voltage from L1 and L2 to Neutral, are you reading Vac or Vdc?

The reason I ask is because that 50 volt reading seems might close to raw battery voltage.

Yes, I found the issue. The neutral wire wasn't connected to the bus.
