I'm looking at buying a FlexBoss/GridBoss/Battery/Solar setup for my house. I want to use it for the main source of power for my house and also grid tie it and utilize the net metering they advertise. I obviously want it to also work when the grid is down. The utility I want to grid tie to is AEP/PSO. They look like they are mostly setup for a simple solar thing with no batteries etc. They have 2 meters in their schematic. The normal usage meter they show hooked into the breaker panel. Fine. I could hook that into the GridBoss and then then go to the breaker panel. The other meter is shown to go between the inverter (GridBoss) and breaker panel. It measures the total amount of electric the solar provides to the house and also back to the usage meter I guess. They don't just want to know the amount of electricity they supply. They want to know how much I supply also because I'm not allowed to send more than 125% of my home's total usage back to the utility (or at least they won't pay/credit me for it).
Has anyone done this with them? I am not sure how to wire this up or if the Gridboss can operate with these constraints. I've looked over the whitepaper on this and don't see a schematic that addresses this metering requirement. I've attached an image from PSO that shows what they require.
The last page of this document shows the suggested wiring of your desired system.

Just an update on this. I think I am going to upgrade my system (before it's even done!) to use 2 FlexBoss21's and a GridBoss. In order to do this I have to install 2 additional load panels (AC combiners) between the inverters and the GridBoss in order to pass through the utility production meters. I wish that the GridBoss had diversion lugs to go to/from the production meter where I could just feed the inverter wires right into the GridBoss. 2-200 amp load/combiner panels take up quite a bit of wall space and costs about $500 more with the addition of 2 double pole 90 amp breakers in each one. Just a product suggestion since the GridBoss is supposed to simplify installation. This would be a big improvement for other people like me who have this net metering requirement in order to grid tie.
