I have an EG4 12000XP and one wall mount battery set up to power a critical loads sub panel. I also have about 2400 Watts of solar panels. My local grid power company has an off peak rate that runs from 11:30 PM unto 7:00AM. My system has been configured to grid charge during the off peak grid hours, and supply power from solar and battery during the daytime. It works as expected, except when I get a sunny clear day, my battery SOC is so high, that the excess solar power can't be used to charge the battery. I'd like to use the Weather Optimization option to limit off peak grid charging, when sunny weather is expected the next day. Unfortunately I'm getting a Remote_Set_Error, and the grid charging isn't being limited. What am I doing wrong? Attached is a composite of screen shots showing some of my settings.
Thank you
Looking forward to some replies. I’d like to know the same. Not trying to high jack your thread but my energy company only credits you the amount you use in a month. If you use 1000 kWh and produce 1500 kWh they consider the 500 difference a community donation🤢 I consider it a donation to there pockets so I stay off grid. Can the 18kpv or 12k be set up to only sell back the amount imported???
