Probably should have posted under share your system but thought it might help some new to solar.
I drilled a new well 75’ from existing power lines so it would be an easy hookup a few years ago. Finally had time to get it going so I called the power company and they said it would be $5,200 for the pole
and meter!!! Add in a well pit that cost $1,400 and I said no thanks, so I put up a 8x10 building as a well house and power station. 6000XP, 3 EG4 batteries (V1) and a 1/2 HP 10 gpm pump. Not finished yet but close. Here are a few pics

I'm glad I found this!
I know exactly how you feel and where you are headed. I went through the same song and dance in Parker county. I am now about 18 months departed for permission from the "finance minister" to proceed . I am going to subscribe and watch your progress.
Let me know if I can be of any help. ==> https://forum.eg4electronics.com/community/share-your-setup/north-central-texas-setup-just-about-to-turn-a-year-old/paged/3/#post-15820
