I am looking to put in a FlexBoss21 for our house. We have seven of the Mitsubishi Mr. Slim AC units. These each have an inverter that takes the 240 to three phase variable voltage variable frequency. Anyone have practical experience with this? Â The question being can you feed the inverter output of the FlexBoss21 to the inverter driven compressor in the Mr. Slim AC unit? Â Mr AI gives me both yes and know depending on how I ask the question.
I recently had an EG4 12000XP installed. It powers a sub panel that serves my kitchen (not including the electric range), microwave, dish washer, refrigerator, a 1hp well pump, and one Senville 24000BTU mini-split heat pump. The heat pump works the same, regardless of whether it is on grid power or inverter power. I have also tested the inverter with my freezer (connected with an extension cord), and a couple of small electric space heaters plugged into kitchen counter outlets. Everything seemed to work as expected.
