I'm upgrading my parents old system which used an epanel and a DC-DC 48v-12v converter to manage all the 12 lights in the house.

How can I hook this into the 12000XP?

Previously our epanels DC Input side has the load coming off that. The only thing I see on the 12000XP is the two DC inputs.

I would imagine with the electronics adding the DC load to the DC input would be bad?

Just a quick update here. While it's probably not encouraged, I did directly connect the 12v load to the secondary battery lugs after confirming they shared power with the first battery lugs. This avoided me needing to run another cable back out to the batteries. This works because we have a DC to DC 48v - 12v converter. This also means the 12000XP unfortunately doesn't show the load from those, so you miss out on seeing any electricity being used by 12v lights.
