Are all of the batteries on the same firmware version?  I had a similar issue when I first installed.  I had to update had all batteries on both comms ports to the current versions.  Since then the batteries are working great.

That's a good question. I bought them all at the same time, I updated the firmware on the inverter, not sure if that also updated the connected batteries. I will check when I get back up to the cabin.

Thanks, Brad

My original purchase was a 4 pack of batteries and cabinet from SS.  They all shipped together.  Three batteries were on one version and the fourth on a different.  The fourth batter was not recognized until all batteries were updated.  This means that its charge management was different which is probably what you are seeing.

Hi @brdfrd ,

I'm just curious if you ever got your generator automation set up. Hopefully you found some voltage settings which got this system working OK for you.

@jlankford Yes, sorted the generator issues. I gave up on trying to sort out the battery balancing issues here, since there was little response from EG4. Got someone on the phone today, and it's in the process of being resolved. DM'd you the information.
