I recently installed an EG4 12K Mini Split (not the solar one). I think I followed the directions exactly, but here's what happened during the post-install checkout. I tested the heat and cool modes. The heat mode blew air that was maybe a degree warmer than the room (65 degrees F), but it could have been wishful thinking on my part. Cooling mode did nothing, even when I tried forcing it in manual mode. I tried again the next day. This time the unit came on for a few seconds, then stopped. The exterior fan came on briefly, then shut off. The internal fan never came on at all IIRC.
What could be wrong? Do I have any realistic hope of finding the problem without a HVAC engineer's tools and expertise?
