Q:
While I really like the form factor and price of the PowerPro, has anyone had to ship these back for repair or return due to an issue? If this were to happen how are you returning something that weighs 300lbs?
This is my biggest concern with that large of a single battery, but I'd love to understand if anyone has had to do this and how that worked?
Context:
I'm currently in the design phase of a new system and am considering purchasing the EG4 PowerPro (with the FlexBoss21 and 12 - 18 panels TBD). I am leaning towards the PowerPro predominantly given my lack of a good interior space. I do not have a non-living space attached to my house for the equipment so I am planning on mounting all the units on an exterior wall which is under our eaves and just a few feet from our power meter and then another few feet to our indoor 200A main panel. We live in Greenville, SC so our weather only typically varies from 34°F to 89°F and is rarely below 22°F or above 96°F so I think this shouldn't be too much of an issue.
