I was hoping someone would be able to help me out. Let see if anyone else has had this issue.

I have 10 of the 18Kpv inverters hooked up to 150 of the LL 48V batteries. I have a backup generator wired in to take over when the sun can't keep up. I am also off grid completely. I was working with the tech guys at Signature Solar to figure out some problems we were having. During this time i was instructed to update the firmware version on the inverter as well as the LCD display update. Once that was complete, I am getting a fault and the system shuts down. It is the "Para Phase set error". I am still working with both EG4 and Signature Solar, but I was hoping someone else might have had a similar issue with their system. Thanks in advance for any help you might be able to provide.

I can't add anything to the problem but if you post the firmware version you upgraded to, it might be helpful to others who search for others who've had problems with that version of the firmware. I know there's a time limit on editing posts so you might have to just reply to your own post filling in the data.
And please keep us filled in on what you find out. I've held back on updating myself only because I just brought batteries online in the last month and want to understand how things work before changing things up. I'm on fAAB-1B1C on a 18KPV also and fAAB-1E1E is out there waiting.

Thanks for the advice, I was on the 1B1C firmware and updated to the 1E1E version. The LCD was on version 7 and I updated to 18

Update to my issues. After trying everything under the sun to get these inverters to work on the new 1E1E firmware we had to replace the inverter with a new one that also had the 1E1E version on it. Currently we have 3 new ones working properly right now and I am waiting for the other 7 to show up. I don't foresee any issues with getting the other 7 to work alongside of these 3 new ones. I will update again if I have any continuing problems. For now, I am back up and going, even if it is only at 30%.

@jwmarshall

Are you saying that Signature Solar is replacing ten 18Kpv units because of a parallel phase error that only started after a firmware update? The hardware was presumably working fine before the update? Do they think the update damaged the hardware somehow?

@jlankford, yes that is Exactly what I am saying. Whether or not they are saying it, I am saying that my system was working before I uploaded the 1E1E firmware to my 18Kpv units, and then I had all kinds of issues with the inverters. The only difference in the old to new inverters is that the old, original 18Kpvs, were made in China. These new units are made in Texas! Coincidence?

@jwmarshall Yikes! Can we tell if they are Made in America or Made in China through the connector compartment door?
