Question Anyone from the UK who can clear this up?

I know this topic is a bit old, but I was reading about the plan to make solar panels mandatory on new homes in England from 2027. Since 2027 isn't that far away now, I was wondering what the situation is today.

I'm interested in the UK solar market, and I'd like to understand what it's actually looking like on the ground. Are builders already including solar as standard? Has it increased the price of new homes, and roughly how much does a typical solar setup cost these days?

I'd really appreciate hearing from someone in the UK or anyone working in the industry, because most of the articles I find are from last year. Thanks!
