I just installed my 24000 btu eg4 mini split.  It is running on 4 solar panels.  It ran great for two days and then gave error code 58.  The outside unit fan is not turning on.  Any help would be appreciated.

I am looking into a solution for this, but meanwhile, do you mind sharing your panel specs?

Voc53.4v, vmp45.3v, ISC12.7A, IMP11.9A

  • I have 4 panels connected in series.

I spoke to our HVAC team, and they recommended to contact your distributor and get the outdoor unit replaced. If you would rather not return it, I can possibly look into sending you the fan so you can replace it yourself. However, let me know what you would rather do.

I am having the same issue. I bought this unit through signature solar but have not had much luck getting a response back.
