Is there a way to get a few pieces of information from the EG4 ESS that would allow me to run an external load management system?

The 4 Smart Load outputs from GridBoss don't account for all of the loads I need to manage in order to keep power under what the inverter can provide when the grid is down.

The pieces of information I would need are:

Total load power including backup loads as well as Smart Loads

Available power (the amount of power the inverter / grid / solar) can provide to the loads. This would depend on whether the grid or generator is assisting the inverter, what the inverter can provide based on connected batteries and if solar is contributing (solar apparently increases the inverter's available power (16 KW vs 12 KW for a FlexBoss 21).

I would either not use the Smart Load ports or if used I'd also need to know when each of the 4 loads was turned on or off.

I have read that this information might be available via modbus RTU from the inverter but that the GridBoss does not support modbus at all. I also believe that those extracting data via modbus RTU need to disable the WiFi dongle. Is this correct?

Ideally, the information would be available via a local network connection (modbus TCP, MQTT or other protocol) and a RS485 connection would not be needed. That said, if a RS485 connection can be made to some point in the system that can extract information about the entire system (including what GridBoss is doing) WITHOUT disabling the Monitoring Center then I could make that work.
