Question LL V2 & LL-S Battery Adapter/Firmware Updater: RS 485

I have five older LL V-2 batteries in a 6-slot EG4 Server Rack with a newer LL-S at the top. I also have two 18K PV Hybrid Inverters, along with six additional LL-S batteries just purchased (still boxed). I am using the EG4 Battery Updater/Firmware updater module I just purchased and had no issues updating the 232 firmware. However, I am uncertain as to how to proceed with the RS485 update. I do not want to brick my batteries. 

Admin, Jared, please advise as to the correct steps. I do understand that this should be a BIN FILE. When I download from EG4's site, the BIN file I loaded onto the updater failed! my batteries seem to be ok, as they power up and the onscreen display show all cells voltages and I have no alarms.
