At the bottom right of the Monitor web site home page, there is a button with the caption "Start Battery Backup". What does it actually do? And if it disconnects me from the grid, will this same button change function and allow me to reconnect to the grid? I don't see any corresponding option on the 12K inverter's own screen, and i'd like to be assured of making a round trip before I try anything.

Enabling Battery Backup mode configures the inverter to prioritize output as PV > AC > Battery. This setting ensures that battery power is only used as a last resort when both grid power and solar are unavailable, while maintaining the batteries at 100% state of charge in case of an outage.

Thanks Jared. So this is essentially a duplicate of the "Power Backup" option on the Maintenance tab under Application Setting? If so, I'm glad I didn't try this. I need to stay with AC Couple, which seems to be at odds with Battery Backup, by any of its various names.
