The 6000XP manual in section 9.3 says: "INV485" .. "this interface can be used to communicate with the inverter 'Please contact the distributor to get the Modbus protocol for third-party app development.'" Has anybody done this? Have any hints or tricks? Have a product to sell?
The android app and the WEB page are nice, but requires a lot of things working for the round trips to the cloud and back. I'd like something local that will work without the whole Internet working. Today (April 13th) my WiFi router failed. The app or the WWB displayed "--" for all values until I reset the router, then everything worked right again.

I haven't used this, but it uses ESPHome firmware on a 20 dollar board and will pipe data straight into Home Assistant.
