Once the battery reaches the Discharge Cut-off voltage/percentage, the inverter stops actively discharging the battery and goes into standby, waiting for solar to become available. However, even in standby the inverter continues to draw a small amount of power from the battery.
If the Discharge Cut-off is set too low, the battery will deplete in standby, causing the inverter to shut down completely. When this happens, the inverter will not be able to restart or allow PV or AC-coupled sources to come back online.
@eg4eric I was able to visit the remote system. Unfortunately I only had enough time to bring the battery up to SAOC of 20%. The inverter was still not calling for the AC couple array to start up. At what SOC will the inverter allow the AC couple array to come online?
