Adding more context. I disabled the AC Charge Mode removing it from my working mode settings. This left only Peak Shaving Mode and the problem persists with not charging the battery from PV. Turning Off Peak Shaving Mode caused the inverter to immediately begin charging the battery from PV. Re-enabling it right after did not stop charging from PV. It seems that in Off Grid Mode, if the battery runs down overnight to the SOC Grid Cut in voltage that switches off EPS self consumption and connects to the grid, that any Working Mode other than Self Consumption that is activated from the time the it switched to the Grid to the time PV becomes available will cause it to only power loads, not charge the battery with excess PV, and as such not switch off the grid and back to the EPS Off Grid Mode self consumption.
If I have no working modes anywhere on the timeline, this problem doesn't happen. Having any modes active on the timeline with a low battery in off grid mode that switches to using the grid will prevent PV battery charging the next day and stays connected to the grid but using PV power to run loads, it doesn't switch back to the original Off Grid EPS loads.
