Brand new install, I don't have any panels connected yet. When running off battery I get no ac output. The display show 5v under ups. I have the EPS turned on and ups enabled. It has no issues taking power from the grid and out putting AC.

Thanks.

Are there any communication warnings occurring? I would verify that BMS communication is properly configured or set the inverter to Lead-Acid to confirm if it's a communication issue.

This has been resolved and the solution was one of the following.

No load on inverter causes it to turn off

eco mode disabled

green mode disabled

@turbofly So your system was in "eco mode" and turning itself off after a certain amount of time of inactivity?  I would think that an eco mode would allow the inverter to "wake up" and start powering loads again once they're detected.

@adelay I think I recognize your name from your youtube video if that is you firstly I would like to take a minute and thank you for that. It was one of your videos that helped me with my first problem. I have 4 12v lifepo4 battery's in series that are obviously open loop. I couldn't get them to register with the 6000xp because I didn't know you have to chose lead acid and its not that clear in the manual. So thanks. As far as your question I think your correct that is how eco should work and probably does. I wasn't aware until somebody from the diysolar forum mentioned that you need at least a 60watt load or the AC output shuts down. Still to this day I'm not sure what setting it was because I made a few adjustments. Green mode or eco mode or something else. Right now I have the inverter going to a critical load sup panel with no circuits connected. I couldn't even try any tests to see if it does wake up.

@turbofly glad to be able to help!

Yeah that's definitely an odd issue.  When I look at "battery eco mode" it only talks about switching over to bypass mode when the EOD level is hit.  I don't see anything about an inverter eco mode which would basically take it to "low power mode" when loads are low.  Now I will say my baseline load level on the house is usually a couple hundred watts so I wouldn't know if the inverter has something automatically built in (but I would have thought I would have heard about it).

I guess ultimately I'm just glad that it's fixed and working for you.  Have fun and enjoy!

@adelay It could be the Green Mode setting #20 something to do with 60watt minimum load. Found that info in a post made by EG4 on the DIYsolar forum. But they specifically said after 10min of no load it would go standby, but mine was happening right away. Both could be true. ill do some tests when I get some breakers in the panel and report back.
