I'm running this way, Solar + Batteries with a grid fallback when the batteries get to low (or EPS Overload).
It seems to work fine, batteries run down to their `Discharge Cut-off Voltage(V)` when the inverter will kick into bypass mode and stay there until PV charges the batteries +3v. I had another post about this: https://forum.eg4electronics.com/community/postid/12664/
Make sure to choose "Battery Eco Enable" if you want to disable AC Charging and depend on solar.
