I was looking through manuals and online search and could not find the guidance how to configure Dry port (NO2,COM2) - are those dry contacts operate as per Gen charge Start/stop voltage?

If so what is the difference from GEN Dry contacts (NO1,COM1)?

Many Thanks

K

The only difference I see is if you have grid or not.

With Grid the Gen contacts behave a little differently as it won't close the gen contacts when there is grid.

Thanks,

I found that table in the Manual, Yet after some tests it seems doesn't reflect the dry contact behavior.

I have connected two test wires to Dry contact NO2 and COM2 and it seems to be closed at the Battery voltage above the Gen charge start voltage - I have set it to 50V and with current voltage 52.3V the contact remains closed.

Once I switch the inverter off - the NO2 contact opens as intended.

weird.

That is strange.  Hopefully someone from EG4 will chime in.

If you are wanting for the generator to start and stop according to the charging parameters, you will need to connect to NO1 and COM1.
