Hello, 

I have a 18kpv that I am trying to set up the dongle on the app and I do not have home Wi-Fi. It is a BAxxxxxx series dongle. I connect it to my phone and turn all other options of Internet connection off. I then go to the app and click on "local connect" and gives me 2 options tcp or blue tooth. I try Bluetooth, but it just gives me a blank screen... Any suggestions?

I recommend this guide, even though it's listed for the BJxxxx, BGxxxx, and BExxxx dongles—it should still be useful: EG4 Wifi Dongle Troubleshooting Guide.

I had tried both articles and they did not help .... I did find a way to make it work. I had to use a router and put it on router extender. I then connected my wife's mobile hot spot on her phone to that router and then used my phone to connect to the dongle... Hope this helps someone in the future, since it took me 2 days of reading to try this trick
