I'd like to request the ability to change the soc threshold at which the inverter switches back to solar.
My on grid cut off soc threshold is currently 22%. I would like to also specify the cut-in soc / additional buffer %, rather than just defaulting to 10% above the cut off soc.
I assume the 10% rule was added to prevent short cycles. Personally it feels rather generous.
If it's not too much additional trouble, it would also be great if the additional buffer requirement was ignored or reduced as long as a specified amount of solar was available.
I'd like to make a separate request regarding a niche battery communications hurdle as well.
For setups that have batteries from more than one manufacturer, sometimes the batteries cannot all communicate with one another.
To alleviate this, it would be great if there was an option to manually specify the size of battery as larger than what the closed loop is reporting. This would allow to inverter to deliver more charge current to the batteries than what the closed loop would otherwise allow.
For example, if closed loop is specifying a 6a max for a 200ah battery. However the user entered that the battery is actually 400 to 500ah. It would be helpful if the inverter could add up-to an additional 50% on top of the closed loop limit to actually deliver 9a to the batteries.
Thank you for your feedback! We appreciate your input and will forward this to our team for consideration. We are always working hard to improve our products and provide the best solutions for our customers.
I have a Flexboss21 that I use mostly in Off-Grid mode, but recently I installed the CT clamps in the configuration below and was trying to find settings in the inverter, to cover the use case below but I don't think they exist.
I'd like the inverter to act like it is in off-grid mode, but once the batteries are above a SOC threshold it export (solar only) to cover the load seen by the CT clamps, while still being "net-zero". Essentially use excess solar to cover upstream loads while still acting like a off-grid setup.
I did find a "Export PV Only" setting in Forced Discharge that seemed promising, but I think it actually has a bug, where it will export all PV even if the "Grid Sell Back" setting is disabled. The functionality I want already mostly exists, I just don't want to export battery power to cover the load seen by the CT clamps.
Feature Request: In the Forced Discharge section when "Forced Discharge Enable" is set to Enable, and "Export PV Only" is set the inverter will export to the grid but honor the "Grid Sell Back" setting. I see there is a "Forced Discharge Power" setting, maybe when that is 0 it only exports the maximum available to cover the loads.
Hopefully there is enough information here to understand my request, if there are any questions feel free to reply, or DM me.
