2 questions about the 12000XP in relation to the Partial Home Backup with Grid Breaker Input wiring diagram.
1. If a 60 or 70A breaker is used in the main panel like shown, am I still expected to run 3AWG wire from the panel to the inverter because the GRID lug spec calls out 3AWG min? Is there any way around this?
2. Can the LOAD break we swapped out in the field? Similar to above if I am running a 60A breaker from the main panel, and the PV+BAT output is 50A, does this break need to be 100A and require the same 100A rated wires to the backup panel?
