Is it normal for the EG4 monitoring portal (monitor.eg4electronics.com) to not have your info saved in all the settings? Even after you choose an adjustment in settings on the portal?

For instance, all these -Empty- dropdowns, do have options selected on my inverter. And all the Enable Disable options are always both white, not yellow, despite my inverter having options selected such as Fast Zero Export Enabled, etc.

I see, you have to press the little tiny "read" button that is at the top of the screen every time, instead of there being automatic state memory applied to the settings.

Yes, that’s correct. You need to press the “Read” button at the top of the page to view the configured settings.

@eg4eric

I am in the beginning stages of setting up my system.  Currently I have the Flexboss21 and the 280AH wall mount battery OFF, and I have made changes (each of which has a "successful" message when set) to the Gridboss.  When exit the webportal and return, I select "read": all the radio buttons are echoed back white and the value fields are blank; however, the time and firmware fields are filled in.  Interestingly, if I go to the "old settings" tab, then the Smart Port radio buttons show the fields that I had changed.

Once the system is online and the settings are configured, they will remain saved and operate as intended.
