Question [Solved] New 6000XP doesn't communicate with EG4 LL battery or create AC output

Mounted a new 6000XP yesterday with a single LL type battery(I know they recommend two but the distributor said one would work). The inverter powers up fine off the battery alone(54 ish volts registered to terminal posts and no faults) but shows 0% on the battery. I set it to Li-on battery type and manufacturer EG4 and plugged in battery com cable. Rebooted whole system and battery a few times, no luck. It has no issue showing the two string of PV coming in, but even with EPS button depressed and showing EPS enabled, AC power generated to the load breaker in the on position. This is my third 6000XP install and the previous ones were trouble free, program battery type and walk away .... appreciate some advice. Addition question, client has a 120v 30amp line they want to run up this inverter as AC IN. I tried it for kicks to the GEN breaker on L1. Will this work as backup when the battery runs low since the unit is generating 240. Am I better off with putting in on GRID breaker L1 or will both of these efforts fail and they need to run a 240 line out to the unit as backup instead.

Problem solved! When I swapped the battery communication cable to the CAN port the inverter registered the proper SOC and voltage of the LL battery and then was able to provide EPS power.
