anyone has an idea why my XP6000 keeps telling me that the AC frequency is out of range? I am not on the grid and the generator is off. Generator boost is disabled.

The generator is not plugged into the inverter. Not sure what the grid boss is but the wires of the unplugged generator go to the generator breaker on the XP6000 directly.

Have you done a full system restart by removing all power sources? if not, I recommended doing one. Removing, battery power, solar power

@eg4eric i will try but i just had surgery and will have to postpone it. Is it hurting something as the fault comes a few times every day?

No rush at all! the system will be okay; it's only a warning. If it was causing damage, it would have an error code and possibly be shutting down.
