The terminology used by the EG4 6000XP seems all over the place and kind of nonsensical.
There so much usage of the word "Emergency" and "Backup" when referring to the power the inverter generates. The whole job of the inverter is to provide power, this isn't an "Emergency" nor is it a "backup", that's literally its sole purpose. Yes, some may only use your 6000XP as a backup power source (normally depending on something else) but I don't see how it makes sense that usage is intrinsic to the device.
It'd be very weird for a car to be marketed and labelled as an "Emergency" or "Backup" mode of transportation just because some people only use it occasionally.
As someone who owns a 6000XP it sure feels like the inverter is telling me with its terminology that EPS and "Backup" power aren't things you should be using regularly (they are for backup or emergency purposes only). This can't be true as this is the whole purpose of the inverter, so I think the labelling and marketing should change.
