My off-grid system has eight months of history and I am curious as to Solar Yield compared to Consumption.

The full system is here: Off-Grid Barndo

The system has 3 EG4 6000XP inverters and 6 EG4 LL-S batteries.

Solar Yield is 6,941 kWh
Battery Charge is 4,364 kWh
Consumption is  5,113 kWh

EG4 Dashboard

What is not included is about ~1500 kWh of generator input through an EG4 Chargeverter.  It appears that my total system power input (Solar + Generator) is about 8,400 kWh.

8,400 - 5,113 = 3,287 kWh of inverter and phantom drain over a period of ~5,000 hours or ~650 W of drain per hour.

What should I expect for power loss due to component consumption?  Do I have an issue that I should be tracking down?

Don't forget to count the idle consumption of each of the inverters.  Three inverters is only going to hurt a little bit, I think i remember reading that idle consumption on a 6000xp is about 50W each.  Not a lot, but it needs to be added to your calculations to help you get closer.

Also remember that you run off the battery, which solar charges (during which there is some small loss, others can provide more detail)  and you started with some level of charge as well.  All of these seem to be missing from your formula.

Good Luck on the "True up"!
