Ok folks buckle up, this should be fun.

Due to reasons, I currently own 4 6000xp’s, 4 indoor wall mount batteries, 1 18kpv and 2 PowerPro outdoor batteries.

Questions:

Can I have the 18Kpv communicate with the 6000xp’s? Basically have it control the 6000xps, bring them on/offline as necessary.

Will the PowerPro batteries and the indoor batteries communicate and play nicely?

Electrically I’m going to be off grid, ideally all the batteries and inverters will be in the garage which will be temp controlled. I’m trying to come up with the most efficient way to utilize these resources so I am open to suggestions. As far as panels are concerned, I have roughly 30kw worth.

I don’t think there is anyway to get the 18k to communicate with the 6000’s. I could be wrong but I think that’s a no go. That being said if you are powering different outbuildings you could just make a system for each outbuilding. Post your question over on the main threads page. I think more folks will see it. Good luck

The 18kPv and the 6000XP cannot be paralleled together. To have 2 or more inverters communicating, they would need to be the same (Model) inverters.

Just curious, could you AC couple the 6000xps to the 18Kpv?

@eric That is kind of what I figured.

@we2 Yeah, that is kind of what I was looking at, utilizing the 18kpv w/PowerPro’s as the primary(load connected to main panel) and have the 6k’s and wall mount batteries as secondary(load connected to either Grid or Generator inputs on the 18kpv).

Unfortunately, that would not be a recommended configuration for your systems.
