The 2/0 lugs supplied from EG4 will not fit onto the 2/0 Fine battery cable. I've tried a bunch of tricks. Fine thread cables sometimes require a lager lug?

Signature sending 4/0 lugs
4/0 seems a little big to me, not certain what EG4 actually specifies for them but:
The guys at Current connected did a video and they used 3/0 - see around 9:30 into the video at Step By Step: How To Install Midnite's ALL-IN-ONE With EG4 PowerPro WallMount Batteries
Signature Solar also did a video: Solar DIY: Preparing Battery Cables for Solar Installation
IMHO I really preferred the 3/0 lug from current connected. The 4/0 lug ended up having some pinched "Cobra" ears on it even when crimped with a 3/0 crimper.
Best of luck,

@joel-brodeur Yeah, that's what I thought, but you would think they would know the correct lugs to send...
I am sure the 4/0 work just fine, just do not like how they look once they are crimped. 🙂
I have never cut test a 4/0 but I have the 3/0 and I l know they work great and look good.
I will see if I have any spare 4/0 lugs that I can crimp and cut and see how they look but I am sure you will be fine.

@joel-brodeur You were right, the 4/0 lugs were huge and they had a 1/2 hole. That is the only option Signature had so I ordered 3/0 long barrel 5/16 hole.
They should work well, I think. Just out of curiosity, do you use a hydraulic crimper?
