Helping a friend out.
He has an older Xantrax 24V system and his lead acid batteries died; he is replacing them with EG4 LL 24V batteries.
He has purchased 4 new batteries and will connect them to busbars and then to system.
I have a few questions:
1 - Recommended charge setting?
Bulk - ?
Absorb - ?
Float - ?
Equalize - Disable if possible or set to what
2 - Recommended gen start stop setting for 20% to 100% charges.
3 - BMS coms. I understand that the Xantrax will not allow closed loop, but if comms is set up between each battery themselves will they regulate between themselves for balancing? Or just leaves the comms out of the scenario.
