I have 3x EG4 PowerPro Wallmount batteries and I've been getting some conflicting information about what the proper shutdown and startup procedure is so just wanted to come here and ask.

My understanding from online research was:

Shutdown: First shutdown the 2 slave batteries, then the master battery.

Startup: First startup the master battery, then the 2 slave batteries.

This allows the master battery to be on the longest and therefore manage the other two batteries coming online or offline.

However today I called Signature Solar and they told me that the proper procedure was.

Shutdown: First shutdown the master battery, then the 2 slaves.

Startup: First startup the master battery, then the 2 slave batteries.

Which one is it? The manual only states that when starting up the master battery starts up first. It says nothing about shutdown order.

Thanks for any help!

There is not a required shutdown procedure with the Wallmount batteries in parallel. However, I generally recommend the first option of turning off the master battery last.
