12kPV running the newest 2525 Firmware and was hopeful that the system would finally know how to manage DST.

This morning I checked and the inverter still thinks we are in DST.

Are we supposed to go in and change that when we go back to STD?

  • That would be insane if we are managing a large number of Inverters at different client homes.

This Device is located in NV (where DST just ended) at it is 8:03 right now NOT 9:03?

Same problem here what is the point of having a DST option if you have to go and change the GMT offset with it? Why is this not automatic?

We are 73 Days from DST ending on Nov-1-2026. The issue with the EG4 inverters not managing this change has been identified since November-2024 (approaching the 2nd year anniversary).

An update was mentioned for last March-2026 (prior to DST beginning).

Where is DST in the possibility of being addressed this year (before Oct)? EG4 had some job openings for junior Firmware engineers this summer. Has any of them been given this as an item to address?

@jarrett, @eg4eric Please offer confidence this issue is known to still be open.
