I added a 2nd EG4-LLs 48V battery to my system.  I noticed that the inverter, EG4-3000EHV screen is not showing anything in the Battery AH area (left side of screen), it is showing SOC on the right side of screen.

The manual and discussions talk about seeing both on the screen.  I would like to know if the inverter is seeing the 200AH with the 2nd battery added.  I don't think the invert is recognizing it though.  Data to my Solar Assistant seems to be 1/2 of what it should be.  for example, rate of charge % or discharge % is for 100AH, example:  40%/Hr charge; but with 2 batteries it is actually only 20% per hour.

How do I fix this?

I have double checked cables, taken them out and re-seated them.  I have cycled batteries and inverter a number of times.  all with the same result.

I will try to add a photo

What if any inputs are active at the moment shown in the picture that are not showing active? Also, is/was your inverter in "stand-by mode" when the picture was taken?

@frugal-farmer picture taken at night, so no solar input and I am not connected to the grid, the inverter was powering an outlet with my mini- split and car charger.

during the day time there is PV input

@quailfarmer If there is proper communication between the inverter and batteries it should show the AH. Have you tried clicking up and down on the arrows to see if anything comes up?
Are you able to post pictures of how you have the batteries connected?
Also, what do you have set for setting #5?

I have gone through all the displays for Battery, grid and PV.  Every screen is populated as it should be.  I have also used the battery tool from EG4 to look at each battery and the communication is there.

I called EG4 tech and they thought things seemed right but also said they sre not sure the “ah” ever display, contrary to page 55 of the manual.

ihere is a picture of my setup the inverter goes to the primary battery through the 485 ports.  Both positives go to class-T fuses and then to a bussbar.
