I bought the EG4 server rack with 6 48v 100amp EG4 LL Batteries and a Victron Lynx Shunt and Cerbo GX with Touch GX as part of a package (along with 2 5000kva 48v Multipluses, Lynx distributor and Lynx Power In, etc.).  When using the Cerbo to program the system it asks for the following Battery Monitor Settings (Victron provides the list and explanation for each item here: https://www.victronenergy.com/media/pg/Lynx_Shunt_VE.Can_-_M10/en/battery-monitor-settings.html#UUID-793e6f68-e9bf-30df-b367-84581a72868a

1.  Charged Voltage

2. Tail current:

3. Charged detection Time

4.  Peukert exponent

5. Charge Efficiency Factor

6.  Current Threshold

7.  Time-to-go averaging period

8.  Time-to-go discharge floor

I can't find the settings to put in for my 600amp EG4 LL 48 volt battery bank anywhere on the internet.  When I asked the vendor who sold me the kit they gave me values for each setting, but I am unsure about some of their answers.  For example, they said to put in 56.8v for the charged voltage.   The EG4 manual does list 56.8v as the "charging voltage (absorption/bulk)" but next to that value it says lists the "recommended setting" as 56.2 (+/- 0.2v).  Additionally, the EG4 manual lists the "recommended setting" for Float as 54v (+/- 0.2v).  So, what do I use?  To further complicate this, when I read the Victron description for "Charged Voltage" it says "The “charged voltage” parameter should be set to 0.2V or 0.3V below the float voltage of the charger."  So, what setting do I use for "Charged Voltage:" 56.8v, 56.6v, 54v, 54.2v, 53.8v...???  This is important because the Lynx Shunt Battery monitor settings will determine how the systems (multipluses) charge the batteries and report and manage the system---when are batteries charged, time to full charge, etc.

Can you please give me the values to put in for all the Victron Lynx Shunt settings listed above for the EG4 battery bank????  The Victron Link above provides the definition for each setting and provides the default values the Lynx Shunt starts with (for example, 4.0% for the tail current, 3 min for Charged detection Time, etc.)

Thank you

I do not currently have all the information requested for this post. However, I will be reaching out to our battery team and post the information as soon as it is available to me.

@jared Do you have the LYNX Shunt information for EG4 yet?  As mentioned last week (12/5) the Shunt is not showing a state of charge and it doesn't seem to go to float when the batteries are fully charged.  Each of the EG4 batteries say 100% charged but the multipluses are still in bulk charge mode.

Thanks

Thank you!  I have charged the batteries using the victron multiplus but on the Touch GX (connected to the Cerbo GX) both the Shunt and the Multiplus are not showing any state of charge--those two fields are still unpopulated.  Also, as I watched it charge the EG4 batteries all read 100% and the Touch GX showed the EG4 input as 100% but the Multiplus was still sending a full charge to the batteries (50 some volts and 50-60 some amps).  It did not go into float.  I shut the AC charging source off from the multiplus so it wouldn't over charge the batteries.
