I'm having trouble connecting my EG4 monitoring app to my system. My electrician said he had to registered the system to get it running, but the username and password are not working that he gave me. I then go to forgot password and it says the username is not valid. I go to forgot username and input my Dongle SN and it says "dongle not bind user". Then I try to register as if it's new and it asks me for "installer code". My electrician said when he called to get it registered, they either made one up or bypassed it somehow because he doesn't have one. It will not let me proceed and there is no other way to log in remotely unless i have this information.

Does anyone know of how to actually obtain the username that your system is registered under? specifically if you do not have an installer code

My installer was not able to get my dongle registered either and they were also not very cooperative about getting my user account setup.  I ended up contacting EG4 technical support and they were able to walk me through the setup process and got my account working.  It is a bit tricky with having to reset your password a couple of times both for the dongle and monitoring app.  I also had to change my home wifi password as I had a special character "&" in my password.  The EG4 system is not able to deal with special characters.  Once I did that it connected just fine.

The tricky part is actually getting connected with EG4 technical support.  You may have to call multiple times and leave multiple messages, but eventually they will respond although it may take several days.  Once they do, at least for me, they were very helpful.
