Do you have Cat5e cable or higher with pins 7 & 8 only?

Make sure the LL-S batteries are on top, meaning the LL-S battery is the master battery that is communicating with the inverter.
The Lithium type should be set to "0" on the inverter.

Here is a document explaining how to get the LL-S and the LL V1 to communicate.

I have a similar issue now. Does anybody have the factory firmware laying around for the LL-S? I want to try to downgrade.

I managed to install the RS485, but the communications fails with the RS232 update. I think something goes horribly wrong in the software from the RS and CAN firmwares being out of sync possibly leading to having communication failure with the Inverter and Cerbo CX unit.

I am really in a time crunch to fix this, so this firmware update was definitely not worth it lol.

Is it correct that the factory firmware is the Z02T18 and new firmware is Z02T12? I though it was reverse.

Appreciate if anyone could drop the factory firmware, I'll update regardless once I downgrade.

The Z02T18 is the most recent firmware for the LL-S. The Z02T12 firmware is used to communicate with other batteries such as the LL-V2, Lifepower4 V1, and the LL-V1.

The Z02T18 firmware can be downloaded on our website.
