I have an EG4 system.

Flex Boss and Grid Boss and a Battery.

E. D. oversaw the installation and is still supposed to work out the kinks (he suspects there is a bonded neutral line somewhere.)

The system is currently in hybrid mode but I have the manual bypass on.

When on the grid in bypass mode, my house does not deal with flickering lights every few seconds.

When the grid is off and I undo bypass mode (solar and battery), I do not deal with flickering.

The only time I deal with flickering lights is when the bypass switch is off and we have the solar and grid on at the same time.

My installer currently is off island but I wanted to look into this as much as I can.

The last thing, my Electric connection is 3-Phase (pole has 208V connection), but I have no 3-Phase devices in the house. There is a 3 phase switch in my panel, but nothing in the house is connected to it. I believe the installer gave me a single phase inverter and is using a grid Boss to try and make the system work without replacing the inverter with a 3 phase inverter at his expense, I would not care if he made this work without the flickering, but I think the flickering only happens when I collecting from the panels and from electric company because the power cannot flow between both systems. When on the electric company with the bypass switch on, not flickering, when on solar and battery with electric company off, no flickering, but when in hybrid or grid tie with the grid Boss and the electric company power is also available I get the flickering.
