I have two 12000XP I will be running in parallel. I realized today that one of the Wi-Fi dongles got thrown away with the foam.

How big of a problem is this? It seems like the dongle is specific to the inverter. Do I need two dongles if I have two parallel inverters?

Like a lot of folks, you might have just done yourself a favor!

Since you will most likely be required to purchase a replacement dongle, please search the internet for the Ethernet Dongle.  A lot of us have spent a LOT of time fussing with the wi-fi dongle for one reason or another.   All of my dongle connection problems went away after about two months of trying to get the wi-fi version working.

You will need to look for it referenced by 18kpv, I've been told they all use the same dongles.

If you find it on "InvertersRus"  Please do not repeat my mistake and purchase from them.  They sold my purchased dongle to a walk-in customer AFTER I had already paid for it!  Then told me they were out of stock!

If you send me a private message with your name, address and phone number, I can send you a replacement dongle.

Hey, it seems like the dongle (DJ43502679) cannot be registered. I posted on the forum about it, but it maybe something about this specific dongle.

This occurs during RegisterService.registerWithAllInfo()InstallerRecordService.doReportInstall().

It looks like the backend is trying to reference a defaultCustomerCodeUser record that doesn’t exist for my dongle. Could you please check whether my dongle/customer code is properly initialized in your system?

Details:

  • Device: EG4 12000XP Dongle

  • Dongle: DJ43502679

  • Error consistently occurs on the registration page (monitor.eg4electronics.com).

Please advise on how to proceed or if you can initialize the missing default customer code on your end.

If you haven’t created a station or registered the dongle yet, I can create the station and try adding the dongle manually from my end.

I don't know what a "station" is so probably not. The furthest i have got is to do the local connect to get it on the wifi. Then i went online to register and got these errors. What do you need from me?

I can attempt to create a Station name and user account, which will look like this and where the arrows are pointing the station name will show.

Are you able to attempt to create an account and register the dongle one more time before I create it for you?

If it doesn't work, let me know and I can send you a private message so I can gather the information needed.
