My newish 18Kpv suddenly went offline...it was working fine this morning.  The inverter is working, but I cannot control it remotely and there is no means via the front panel to perform a quick charge....seems like that should be a selection.  The WiFi dongle has the bottom LED solid green (WiFi) but the middle (Cloud) LED is flashing green.  The top (INV) is not lit at all.  Ideas?

You might check out the following doc:

Thanks,

Thanks Joel, I tried rebooting everything including my wireless, but no luck.  So, after I read your suggestion, I brought my laptop to the garage to be closer to it and discovered that it was now working perfectly...all 3 lights on.

I have no idea what happened, but am glad it is now working.  BTW, I have the earlier BA version of the dongle.  Thanks again.

I might add, that for the expense and critical nature of this inverter, it really should have a hard-wired Ethernet port.  Leaving this to the vagaries of WiFi seems very precarious at best.  All my other critical devices are hard wired.  OTH, I did appreciate not having to run a cable to it!

Well, it did it again today; I have lost all remote communication with my 18Kpv as of about 3:05pm PDT.   I was showing my wife some data on my phone and when I went to refresh it, it said it was offline.  I tried following the steps for the BA version dongle but nothing worked.

I thought maybe it was the result of their server being down.  I can successfully ping their IP address, but that may not mean much. Others have said it is probably a server issue but one person said they were going to be sent a new dongle.  Anyone else having this issue?

If it is a server issue, then we need some sort of status page or perhaps an email notification.
