New here and have a question on installation.  I need to mount 4 powered batteries the one in the pic will have the flexboss21 on top. But to mount to 2 studs it needs to start here.

I can think of three ways if I cannot mount this close. First, move the whole set over 16 inches. Second, get hardware to move it over the 3 inches I need and mount it to the hardware not the wall. Third move it over 8 inches and only use the center holes to mount to a stud in the mounting bracket.

Since I don’t want to go get the extra hardware I would prefer either mount as shown in the picture or the third option, but I am not certain whether to screw screws in the center holes is appropriate, considering the flex boss above it would not be mounted to the studs.

Please let me know if the third option is possible or if the original here in the picture is appropriate.

Any assistance is appreciated.

Couldn't you mount some din rail on the wall to gain more clearance? Toggle bolted inverter doesn't sound secure to me for long term purposes.

Thanks for the reply, Frugal.

This is what I meant with option 2 and the extra hardware. I just couldn’t think of Dinrail at the time I was writing this.

no choice but to go with option two. The studs are not very well aligned to 16 inch centers and I will not take the risk

Superstrut would probably be a better option -
