Previously if my batteries discharged to the on grid cutoff soc the inverter would just switch to 100% grid source and leave the batteries at that level. Now when the soc gets within a few percent it starts to cycle charging at about 800 watts for a few percent of soc then going to battery for a few percent in about a one hour cycle. How can I set it back to the old behavior? Is there some reason this changed? It seems to correlate with a new firmware update that happened automatically.

Was this an upgrade from EG4_FAAB-1B1C to EG4_FAAB-1E1E by any chance?

I've just brought batteries online a few weeks ago and added a 3rd battery last week so I've held off updating so I can understand how things work before throwing a new firmware into the mix.

I don't know if it's possible to go back a version but if you can it will be a good data point for the EG4 developers to know where to look for why your system is now acting differently.

According to EG4, once you go to 1E1E, you cannot go back.  This is due to an updated memory mapping.

Did you make any changes in your settings prior to this issue happening?
