The website accepts most password characters like: !@#$^&*()-= however if you try and login via the mobile app using certain !@#$^&*()-= characters you will receive the "network may have trouble" error. Try resetting your password not using or limited punctuation characters. I have only tested ? character to work.
After further testing it seems as though some characters are accepted. I did use the app to change password and that did work. I did need to remove some of the punctuation characters for it to work.
