Hello. I added a Tigo link for a test system to the EG4 monitoring site - just 6 panels. All works well from the Tigo monitoring side (i.e. solar panels are shown, monitored with panel data updating), but not on EG4's monitoring site. The panels show up on EG4 with their IDs (string and panel label), but no data appears (i.e. power). Other than this, the EG4 monitoring site is working well reporting inverter and battery data. I did activate the Tigo premium subscription under the trial 30-day offer.

18KPv. not grid attached, test loads only on AC output, 4 wall-mount AW batteries.

Is there some setup consideration I missed?

Thank you,

Thank you,

I had the same issue when I first set mine up.  then after a day or so it started to work as expected.  One thing I did notice was that the three "Solar" areas never seemed to match up too well, Between the solar input at the top of the monitor page, the Tigo area, and the Tigo website. I am guessing it was pretty much an issue with timing cycles.

I ended up just dropping the Tigo integration off of the EG4 site, was just not worth it to me.

However, if you like it, I suggest you wait a day or so and see if it clears itself up.  If not or if you have already waited for it, you might try removing it and then re-adding it and see if that helps.

If you have already done that, then it is beyond my experience level.

Hope this helps and please keep us posted.

JB

@joel-brodeur Thanks JB. I have noticed Tigo systems have occasional extended delays updating sometimes-so your experience continues.

Thanks again JB. Two days later the EG4 site began showing data from Tigo on the solar panels. The EG4 view is close to tracking the 1-minute Tigo site updates. That resolves my question - such as the state is.

I have never understood the lag when setting it up for the first time, must be some validation process between the servers or something.

Glad it is working for you though.

Please let me know what you think of it after you use it for a while.  I am thinking about re-enabling it.

Thanks,

JB

CORRECTION: I mistakenly stated the Tigo site updates at 1-minute intervals. Incorrect - Tigo claims a 10 minute update with 20 minute lag (including 1-minute resolution post-update in the historical log).

https://support.tigoenergy.com/hc/en-us/articles/12583024225043-How-fast-does-data-update-in-the-EI-portal-and-does-Premium-speed-up-this-process

I measured about 12 minutes between updates on the EG4 monitor site and cannot tell about the lag. My testing over the last couple of days led me to conclude the EG4 site is easier to monitor panels with than the Tigo EI site ( https://ei.tigoenergy.com/). The Tigo EI->System View:Power/Voltage/Current status screens do not update visually without manual browser refreshes. The EG4 site updates on-screen automatically and shows the time since last update. Both sites update at the same frequency and at about the same time.
