I had a big storm roll through last night here in Ohio and lost power around midnight for some unknown amount of time. It was long enough to appear in the history:

Again, there is no information on the monitor site's Event History that my inverter lost grid power:

This really bugs me. There should be an event.

This weekend I updated my inverters firmware to the latest. This had to make a firmware update through a firmware version that I couldn't match up to final version eAAB-2021. Now after being on that latest version as of yesterday, I had turned off my grid power (flipped house main breaker) to be able to safely upgrade my stove outlet wiring from 3 to 4 wire and within a few seconds I get a notification on my phone from my EG4 monitor app that my grid connection is lost!

Finally! The firmware update appears to have fixed my notifications not working. After I turned my grid power back on, I also got another notice that AC power was back. And look! I also get a logged event again:

Now I need to update the LCD firmware because the numbers my invert is showing me are completely incorrect...

@eric Are there any release notes on the LCD firmware versions?

Not at the moment, but as soon as we do, it will be posted on our website. I know that the LCD V18 firmware adds the Gridboss option in the settings and corrects the wattage numbers on the inverter's display.

Yesterday night (6/18) we had some big storms roll through Ohio and our grid power went out a few times during the course of the storm. At least 3 times it went out. I did not receive any notifications from the inverter that the power was out. Checking on the website, I don't see anything listed for it either:

So great. Notifications are broken again. Any ideas on how to fix notifications?

To update things. Here I am a year later and there are NO new events. I've had multiple power blips and stuff that should have triggered something. Not sure why the events do not work on the web page.

Anyone?

What exactly is happening? Is the grid having outages?

Grid power is lost for a bit, i.e., a brown-out.

Seems that when I've been messing with firmware updates and the inverter has restarted that I get notifications for a bit, then they eventually stop. However, on the inverter LCD screen if I check alerts, I do still see notifications when grid power goes down or dips (brown-out). I do not currently see any of this logged on the web events
