hello all,

my 6000 XP barely 6 months old has been shutting down for the last couple of weeks mainly early morning before sunrise. Warning 25 (battery high voltage) despite the fact that my two batteries are below 55 V when it happens. I have restarted the inverter numerous times but it keeps happening. I am totally off grid with no wired generator to the system. I am using a small one now to have internet with starlink. The system just came up again after about 1-1/2 hour, (as usual, after few minutes to a couple of hours). Anybody has an idea?

-7360 Watts of solar input with 2 strings of 8 Blue Sun Solar panels BSM460M-72HBD

-560 Ah battery capacity with 2 x EG4, 48 V wall mount all weather LiFePO Batteries

-6000 Watts inverter with EG4 6000 XP off grid inverter

Are you sure that it is warning 25 and not error 25 (over temp)?

You might check your air filters and make sure they are clean and that your inverter is in an area that is not too hot.

Otherwise, I would call you vendor on that one.

@joel-brodeur . Thanks… it has been on and off for the last 3 hours. The inverter shows the green flashing warning with #25 and i thought this meant a warning for battery overcharged. The temperature is 22C/72F… 2 days ago, i did remove the filter on the right side and cleaned it…

I am on an island and there is no vendor to contact. Any possibility you could check my system remotely. I have a small generator powering the internet.

@ravasunpower regrettably, I am not with EG4.  @Eric might be able to chime and take a look.

When you see the 25 do you see a frown face or a flat face?  Can you tell?

If you can close up pic of the screen?

Just as a follow up.  I had a similar issue, when I reached out to my vendor (Signature Solar) the tech had me completely shut down the system (everything - solar, batteries, inverter) let it sit for 10 minutes and then bring the system back up.

It worked for me and has not happened since then.

When it happens, it definitely says warning 25 with a flat face. it also restarts without my input.

I did a few shut downs and restarts: when it restarts, it shows an error 17 for a couple of seconds before showing the warning 25 again. Then it will restarts alone and either shut down immediately or stays on for a while.
