My WiFi network is now different. The dongle of course is no longer connected.  I want to connect it.

I found the document "EG4® 18kPV DONGLE RECOVERY GUIDE".  It is of no help because, rather idiotically, it omits the crucial discussion of how exactly one is supposed to reset the dongle. I've tried holding down the button for 10 seconds; that does nothing.

"This guide will detail the steps needed to recover Wi-Fi dongles with serial numbers starting with the letters “BA” after being reset to factory settings".

Well, how does one get the dongle back to factory settings? With the goal of connecting to my new WiFi?

I can connect to the WiFi of the dongle, but 10.10.10.1 does not respond in a web browser.

However, I can ping 10.10.10.1 just fine, so clearly I am connected to the dongle WiFi.

Regarding its lights, all it does is blink the WiFi symbol — nothing else.

Also, pressing and holding the bottom at bottom for 10+ seconds does not change any behavior

Make sure that you have a specific network for 2.4GHz and don't have any special characters in the Wi-Fi password.

@eric Well I suppose that's a useful tip in some cases.

The solution was one not listed anywhere.

1.  In the EG4 Monitor app, log out.

2. Connect again eg enter the new WiFi network name and PW

= solved

This is not stated anywhere I could find. In fact, the EG4 documentation I found doesn't even mention it.  Total wild goose chase: missing information, incorrect information, etc.

The 10.10.10.1 thing a browser does not work at all. Total red herring.

Really poor documentation!!!
